Sample for New Hampshire Weaver's Guild

Weave  3/1 & 1/3 broken twill on 36 shafts (4 shaft basket weave selvedges)

Comments   www.ProWeave.com weaving program; 32 shaft pattern was increased to 36 shafts to increase space between pattern columns.  Woven for the NHWG for Fall 2019 distribution.



Silk Shawl

The warp is natural silk/flax & pictured weft is 36/2 mercerized blue cotton that displays the pattern. The “real” weft was white silk for shawls. 36 shaft twill based upon the 32 shaft twill on page 56 of A Joy Forever: Latvian Weaving by Jane Evans

New Scarf



Scarf: warp is deep navy silk/flax from my stash sett 30 epi. Weft is 20/2 Diva Blue silk from Webs @28 ppi. 36 pattern shafts threaded straight draw & treadling converted from a 32 shaft lift plan (#115) in the ProWeave Twill Databank. 4 shafts were used for basket weave selvages.

Blazing Shuttles Twill Scarf



Blazing Shuttles Pink Smoke 8/2 cotton sett 24 epi;  I tied onto my previous warp to minimize warp waste - the warp I could not weave at the end was from the previous scarf.
